DESCRIPTION:

Golden Knight GARO (黄金騎士・牙狼（ガロ）) is a Action/Fighting/Hack and Slash video game published by Bandai released on April 20th, 2006 for the PlayStation 2.

Ōgon Kishi Garo (Translates to Golden Knight Garo) is a Fighting Game/Hack and Slash game based off the Tokusatsu Series of the Same name. Unlike other Tokusatsu Series, Garo was much Darker including Darker imagery, Blood, and even Nudity. The Game loosely follows the First series with Kouga Saezima holding the current title of Garo as he Battles Monsters Known as Horrors to Stop them from preying on humans.

The Game is Pretty simple with basic controls for a fighting game such as light attack, Strong attack, Lock On, and Dodge, but also allows for complete movement in the battle area and even Arial combat. Some Missions will have Kouga facing down Random Horrors before battling one from the show and may even build up a counter to access the Garo Armor for Stronger Foes.

A Small Bonus I really love alot of Japanese Games for is getting the rights to use the music from the series and is even used to recreate the shows Opening.

Overall its a decent enough game but its one you will have to know the subject matter to really enjoy. So as a Side note I recommend tracking down the First Series of Garo and giving it a shot as well.
